Information you provide

Kindtoall may store account information, profile and Application Passport answers, application records, referrals, messages, household information, and documents you choose to upload to your Evidence Wallet.

Some information may be sensitive, including identity, contact, income, employment, housing, benefit, household, and eligibility-related information. You decide what information to add and are responsible for reviewing it for accuracy.

My Kind browser extension

The My Kind browser extension gives a signed-in resident access to their Kindtoall Passport, documents, applications, updates, and opportunities. Authentication sessions are stored in extension-scoped browser storage so you can remain signed in. You can clear that session by signing out or removing the extension.

The extension does not continuously monitor your browsing. When you explicitly choose Scan This Page, Chrome grants temporary access to the active page so Kindtoall can identify form labels and supported fields. Page scanning is separate from filling, and filling is separate from submitting.

Fill With Kind

Fill With Kind compares supported fields on the page you selected with information already in your Passport. It shows a preview before placing any information into the form. Unmatched fields remain for you to complete.

Kindtoall does not automatically submit external forms. You remain responsible for reviewing the completed form, correcting information, accepting certifications, signing, and choosing whether to submit it. For supported fillable PDFs, processing occurs in the extension and a new copy is prepared for you to download and review.

How we use information

We use information to provide and secure Kindtoall, maintain your Passport and Evidence Wallet, prepare application workspaces, identify missing or outdated information, support resident-authorized form filling, route referrals, display application status, and improve reliability and accessibility.

Kind may explain requirements, organize information, and help prepare actions. Kindtoall does not make an institution’s eligibility, approval, benefit, hiring, housing, or funding decision.

Sharing with organizations

Connecting with an organization, scanning a QR code, or prefilling an application does not by itself share your Passport. Before a supported Kindtoall submission, you can review the requested information and documents and explicitly authorize what will be shared.

Organizations receive only information made available through the applicable application, referral, request, or authorization. Organization staff access requires an authenticated account, an active organization membership, and an authorized staff role. Interface visibility does not replace backend authorization.

Service providers and external systems

Kindtoall uses service providers, including Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and backend functions, and platform providers such as Apple, Google, and browser vendors for application and extension distribution. These providers process information as needed to deliver their services.

When you fill or submit a form on an external government, nonprofit, employer, landlord, school, or other website, that organization’s privacy practices also apply. Kindtoall does not control how an external organization handles information you choose to submit directly to it.

Data sales and advertising

Kindtoall does not sell your personal information. Kindtoall does not use Passport, document, or application information for targeted advertising.

Retention and deletion

We retain information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, maintain authorized application and access records, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and protect the service. Abandoned drafts and withdrawn applications are removed after 30 days; security and audit events are retained up to 12 months with resident identifiers anonymized on account deletion.

You can delete your account inside the app (Account & Privacy → Delete My Account), which removes your profile, Passport answers, uploaded documents, applications, and sign-in after password re-authentication. Security

Kindtoall uses authentication, encrypted network connections, access controls, row-level database policies, organization membership checks, and limited browser permissions. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure.

Do not share sign-in credentials, terminal approval codes, or downloaded application files with anyone you do not trust. Sign out when using a shared computer.

Your choices and rights

You can choose what to add to your Passport, whether to upload documents, whether to scan a page, which proposed fields to fill, whether to authorize a Kindtoall submission, and whether to submit an external form.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information. Contact us to make a request. We may need to verify your identity before completing it.

Children

Kindtoall is not directed to children under 13. A parent, guardian, or authorized adult should contact us if they believe a child provided personal information without appropriate permission.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Kindtoall changes. We will publish the revised policy on this page and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the service when appropriate.
